This embossing takes a lot of time to set up the machine and there is a risk that it will be set up incorrectly.
By replacing embossing with printing, setup times are reduced and errors are reduced. The solution is to make batch-bound plates, where the codes are in the plate and are printed along with them. LelyPharma uses the Volkers Portal. Here they enter the base number, the batch code and expiration date themselves. This is followed by an automatically generated PDF link containing the completed batch code and best before date. If this is approved, the record will be produced and shipped.
