Sales Manager - Packaging Solutions for Leading Brands

We work with well-known brands such as Jumbo, Intergamma, FrieslandCampina and Riedel, and we are looking for a result-oriented Sales Manager to achieve our ambitious plans. What are you going to do? As a Sales Manager at Volkers, you play a crucial role in expanding our customer portfolio and optimizing our customers' packaging execution processes. You identify new sales opportunities, maintain strong customer relationships and ensure sales growth in a dynamic and internationally oriented environment.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Developing and executing a strategic sales plan for existing and new accounts, with a focus on growth and customer satisfaction.
- Actively identifying and using cross- and upsell opportunities within our various services.
- Advise customers on the best packaging solutions that strengthen their brand identity while optimizing costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and product solutions are perfectly suited to their needs.
- Analyzing market trends and turnover data to proactively adjust and achieve your goals.
- Providing smooth onboarding for new customers, including training and evaluations, so that they can make optimal use of our services.
What do you bring?
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a commercial role, preferably in the packaging industry or a related sector.
- Experience in sales management and setting and achieving ambitious sales goals.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a strong focus on generating results.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to act strategically and customer-oriented.
- Experience with CRM systems and using them to manage customer relationships and sales opportunities.
- You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
- At least a higher professional education level of work and thinking.
