Volkers is a family business with over 100 years of experience in the packaging execution process for brands and manufacturers. We are currently building a new ERP platform that replaces two existing systems and works intensively with internal and external applications. This platform plays a central role in our daily operations and must be reliable, scalable and easy to use. To accelerate this project and increase the team's technical strength, we are looking for a Frontend Developer with a strong interest in quality and testing.

About the role

For our ERP platform, we are looking for a Front-end Developer who contributes to the quality and further development of the front-end, in close coordination with the Lead Developer and the project team. As part of a small team of specialists, you will work on a strategic platform that is constantly evolving and plays a central role within our organization.

You are primarily a front-end developer and work on a complex Vue 3 application every day. In addition, you have an affinity for testing or the ambition to take further responsibility here, so that quality and stability are structurally embedded in the development process.

What you're going to do

In this role, you will work structurally on the front end of our ERP platform. You contribute to both new functionalities and to the maintenance and quality of existing parts. Testing and quality are not a one-off project phase here, but an integral part of how we develop.

Specifically, you will focus on:

• Further development and maintenance of the Vue 3 frontend

• Implementing new features and improvements based on user feedback

• Improving and expanding the frontend test suite as an integral part of the development process

• Build and maintain end to end tests with Playwright

• Writing and maintaining unit tests with Vitest

• Monitoring code quality, stability, and frontend maintainability

• Collaborate with developers, product owner and business stakeholders on continuous improvements

• Establish and further professionalize quality and test agreements

What we are looking for:

• Solid experience with Vue 3 and the Composition API

• Experience with Git

• Experience calling REST APIs from a frontend

• Familiarity with tools like Postman

• Genuine interest in testing, quality and maintainable code

A plus for this role

• Experience with Playwright or similar E2E test frameworks

• Experience with Vitest or Jest

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions

• Docker experience

• Eye for UI and UX

• macOS as a daily work environment

• Experience with AI tooling/integration

• Familiar with Pinia/state management

• Real-time applications with WebSockets/Pusher

• Experience with Laravel backends

• Familiar with Storybook
