Prepress

The best design loses its power the moment a colour is off, a cut line is missing, or the printer sends the file back. Prepress is the step that prevents that: your design is translated into fully technical artwork, ready for the press. So your packaging looks on the shelf exactly the way it looked on your screen.

Prepress

From prepress to technical artwork, right the first time

Prepress is the technical link between the creative design and actual print production. Here, your design is turned step by step into fully technical artwork: colours are separated and checked, resolution is correct, cut lines and fold lines sit exactly where they should, and barcodes are readable. Only once everything is technically right does the file go out the door.

We work precisely and in a structured way, in close coordination with your design team and the printer. That's how you avoid costly correction rounds, delays in the production schedule, and packaging that falls short on press.

What we can do for you
We offer a complete range of artwork and prepress services, from the first colour separation to the final check on press.
Technical artwork
Technical artwork is the translation of your creative design into a fully production-ready file: colour separation, resolution and file build matched precisely to print method and material. So what appears on press is exactly what you had in mind on screen, without rework afterwards.
Technical keylines
Accurate cut lines, die lines and fold markings, matched exactly to your pack shape and material. One line in the wrong place and the pack doesn't fit or folds crooked; we make sure that doesn't happen.
Colour management
Precise conversion to Pantone, CMYK or process colour, matched to material and print method. So your brand colour looks the same on every pack and at every printer.
Proofing & on-press support
Before the file goes to press, a proof checks whether colour, layout and material are correct. On the first print run, our colour expert takes another look and steps in immediately if the colour is off, rather than after a whole print run that's wrong.
